27/ 04/2025 Purchased and loaned a fine Laberte cello.
09/04/2025 Conway Hall Sunday Concerts hosted The Cello Corner for music by women composers in honour of International Women's Day with Eliza de Silva (violin), Isla Schwarz (violin) Tabitha Wicks (viola) and cellists Atticus Larard, Lotte Shlomowitz, Heather Tuach, Emily Elliott, Kosta Popovič, Gabriel Francis-Dehqani. With Will Harmer (piano).
10/12/2024 Cellos, bows and cases were donated in loving memory of Gordon Alexander James Gibb who sadly passed away after a long battle with cancer (14/06/1949 to 14/09/2023). Gordon was a very talented pianist, cellist and violin player. He had a great passion for classical music which formed a major part of his life. Gordon was very quick witted with an amazing sense of humour and a beautiful soul. Gordon will always be greatly missed and never forgotten by his beloved friends and family.
01/12/2024 Fundraiser concert given by cellist Agnieszka Maria Mika and pianist Lorenza Carraro at St Mary's Church Islington raised over £700 for the Foundation.
20/04/2024 Our Lockey Hill cello was awarded to Kosta Popović, based on live audition. Kosta will have use of the cello, along with bow and case, at no cost, for three years.
