26 June 2022 | Lotte Shlomowitz (cello) at Sutton House Music Society Lotte Shlomowitz performed the first movement of Shostakovich's Sonata in D minor Op 40 with pianist Aaron Burrows, opening for Namara Trio at Sutton House Music Society in Hackney. 22 March 2022 | Finn Anderson-Hendra won the Susanne Beer Cello Corner Prize of £250 at the North London Festival of Music Speech and Drama in March 2022. Finn performed Faure's Apres un Reve in class 326 (11 to 12 years). Finn is taught by Ben Davies at the Royal Academy of Music and is principal cellist for NYSO senior Orchestra
19 March 2022 | Masterclass with cellist Penny Driver at St James’ Church Islington.
19 March 2022 | Schubert Cello Quintet with Ostara Chamber Players and Richard Lester (cello). The concert began with a young ensemble performing Mozart's Oboe Quartet.

11 December | Over 20 cellists took part in The Susanne Beer Cello Corner Foundation Fundraiser Concert at Christ Church Highbury in December 2021. £930 was raised for the Foundation.
20 November | Daphne Shlomowitz (cello) performed Tarantella by Squire at Concert Corner, St. James' Church, Islington. This was followed by a performance by Greenwich Trio.

Susanne Beer's former students Daphne and Lotte Shlomowitz, and Sonny Buether also won top prizes at the North London Festival

October |Elizaveta Lessoun was chosen as the recipient of a three-year loan of Susanne Beer's Lockey Hill cello (c.1780). It is the cello that Susanne played on while she was co-principal cellist of the LPO. Elizaveta is from Belarus and she studies with Melissa Phelps at the Royal College of Music in London.
