Tuition Grants
The Susanne Beer Cello Corner Foundation provides Tuition Grants (up to £500 per Grant) each year to cellists who might not otherwise be able to afford to attend lessons or courses. Tuition Grants are for cellists between the ages of 9 & 23, of a Grade 7+ standard, who are aiming towards becoming professional cellists. Applications are open to UK citizens, permanent UK residents and to those with student visa. Successful applicants may reapply in two years. Since 2022, we have given out more than 20 Tuition Grants!
Tuition Grants are awarded every three months. The deadlines for applications are:
1 September, 1 December, 1 March and 1 June.

Application Form
Thank you for your interest in applying for a Tuition Grant. Eligible studies include masterclasses, summer courses, private lessons and tuition at colleges and universities. As a condition of accepting a Tuition Grant, the recipient may be asked to participate in fundraising concerts within two years. The recipient should make every effort to participate where possible.
